In 2003 I set up a consulting business in Tokyo working with international clients like Bulgari, Servier and ExxonMobil to help them improve performance in a variety of areas including sales, presentation skills, public relations and marketing.
My first experience with digital marketing was learning it to promote my own business. I built my first website in 2002 before becoming interested in video marketing and SEO. I became a professional digital marketing consultant in 2010.
I decided to specialise in dental marketing largely because I’d enjoyed working in beauty/high-end services from my years working with Bulgari and because I found the clinical/results/transformational side of dentistry interesting.
I now run the Dental Connections marketing agency. We help dentists attract and educate the right patients so they can sell more high-end treatments using a wide array of marketing strategies, from SEO and video to email and content marketing.
I always want to be the best so I invest a lot in learning from the leaders in their fields.
In terms of digital marketing and business growth strategies, I’ve learned in person from many of the world’s top experts including Jay Abraham, Jeff Walker, Don Crowther, and Paul Lemberg.
In the field of performance development, I became a Registered Corporate Coach (Worldwide Association of Business Coaches) at Dr. Tim Ursiny’s Action Coaching and Training in Chicago.
I completed Dr. Robert Mager’s training on performance development techniques at the Centre for Effective Performance in Atlanta (CEP provides training to over 80% of America’s Fortune 500 companies.)
I’ve also had the privilege to learn advanced performance development skills from renowned international business consultant and speaker, Dr. Alan Weiss, in London.
